About 13 years ago I wanted a part time job to entertain me and keep me from killing my toddlers. I had planned events in high school and in college so I began a quest trying to find something to fit my talents. After perusing the yellow pages (back before Google began) I stumbled upon a local wedding planner's business.
We sat down, talked about my resume and the moment of destiny began. Now 13 years later my toddlers have grown to be teenagers and I still have moments of planning their impending doom but age has mellowed me and my business is a great distraction. Did I mention they are two boys.....guess the wedding thing is to balance the testosterone we have in our family.
So at the request of my Summer Intern (Megan from JMU) I have started to blog to help other brides make it through their wedding in one sane, peaceful and satisfied piece......
